November

November is finally getting posted!! In November we got a new lens for our camera so we now have a camera that works. So I had fun playing with the new lens for a bit. I love how it zooms in really close, but it also won't let me be close to person. That kind of stinks, but oh well. Now we need to get a new camera bag, so we can take it with us easier.
Check out those teeth!!! He now has 2 teeth, and loves to use them. Barrett LOVES crackers!!!
Several days a week my mom watches Barrett for me while I am at work. He loves his Grandma!!!

Wesson and Barrett love playing together. On Thanksgiving I was trying to cook, and I kept hear all this laughing. I looked and found this...
That is Barrett under those boxes!!! Wesson put them on his head!

Then he built a "road block" around him.
 Barrett was in heaven!!!
I made some yummy apple pie for Thanksgiving as well and a Maple Pecan pie!! They turned out delicious!!
We had Thanksgiving over at my SIL house. All of my in laws were there and then also my parents came.
Wesson enjoyed seeing Grandma again and talked her into reading him some books.
 Cousins playing
We played a couple of card games.

Barrett was happy to seeing Grandma!
We had a feast at Work a few days before Thanksgiving. The kids do a taste test and sample all the different foods. We have a great time. Can you find Wesson?

October

October was a really long month.... so this is a really long post. Beware!!!

We started off the month going to visit my In Laws in Alliance, NE. If you don't know where that it, don't worry! No one does!!! It's a 7 hour drive each way. We packed up Friday and headed out after Kent home from work around 4:30.
I got home form work and had 2 hours to put the kids down for a nap and get all the packing done. In the mist of packing I went into my room and found this in my suitcase.
Then of course he wanted Barrett in the suitcase too.

Packing too a long time because Wesson was helping me out. I would get out the ice chest to put food in and went I opened it up I would find that Wesson had already packed his blanket and pillow in there and was not very happy when I tried unpacking them.  Or when I won't lat him pack all of his toys.

We got there last Saturday Night the boys handled the driveain  really great. It helped that you would see a train every mile or so. Saturday was a very cold and windy day. We drove around and saw the sites all from the car. We went and saw.....
Trains!!!!
Here is Barrett Watching the trains go by.
Here is Wesson watching the train and to Grandpa tell him all about the trains and the different buildings we saw.
Then what is a trip to Alliance with out stopping at Carhenge. It looked really cool. I would have love to get out and walked around. Next time we will have to.
Sunday we went to half of church then drove the 7 hours home.
During this week, we discovered my my niece who was 6 weeks old got Bacterial Meningitis B. She ended up having seizures resulting in serious brain damage. Her parents decided to take her off life support. So the Tuesday after getting home from Alliance after work my sister, dad, and I (and my two boys) drove 24 hours to AZ straight through. We went straight to the hospital were I got to meet and hold my niece for the first time.
Briana passed away that Friday after surviving a week off life support. We then drove back to Az on Saturday another 24 hours without stopping back to NE. The boys were awesome on the drive. We borrowed some DVD and a mini player, but ended up only watching 2 movies the entire time.
While we were in AZ we spent alot of time with family and Wesson loves playing with his cousins. One day they went to the park.

Aunt Alisa and Charisse with Wesson and Brisa.

Wesson and Brisa were racing each other on the animals.
I think Brisa won.
Barrett hanging out with Grandma in the shade.
Another day Lania, Alisa, Charisse, and I formed a band under Wesson's direction.
Wesson loved to play the guitar and would shout "Hit it!" and point his finger at Charisse (who was at the piano) to start playing.
I got to play back up guitar for several songs.

Aunt Charisse and Barrett.
Aunt Dasha and Barrett
Despite being really good in the car and during the day. The boys did not sleep well and I was up 8-10 times a night with them. So basically I went with out sleep from Tuesday night until Sunday afternoon when I got home. The boys and I crashed while Kent went to Meeting and then he came home and let me sleep for another four hours. It felt good. Yes, I had to go to work the next day.
Sunday as we were driving home Barrett got a cold and was sick the whole next week, wanting me to hold him and not letting me get anything done. I on the other hand had a billion things to do. I agreed to make some boy things for a boutique my cousin was hosting in AZ. "No big deal. I have plenty of time." Well, I went out of town twice and had two funerals in two weeks and a sick baby the next week! I was running out of time! Oh! and I have to make all of our Halloween costumes!! I got everything done in a week and a half after spending hours sewing every night.I was so proud of myself, and so glad to be done.
Here are the picture I managed to take/ steal from Halloween. (both of my camera's are broken)
Wesson after "Talk like a Pirate Day" and having a pirate come visit his preschool class decided to be a pirate. Now...  while the pirate was there Wesson refused to come out of the bathroom and when he did only would sit on a teacher's lap with this scared look on him face. For his costume I used my silhouette to make his a shirt with a pirate symbol, got some black and white stripped material and made him pants and bought a red scarf for a sash and a sword I bought for a dollar.
Barrett was a parrot.
I used a red oneie and cut some feathers out of felt and sewed them under the arm and then some on his lower back for a tail. He had some red pants and I bought a hat for a dollar and sewed eyes and a beak on it.
I have no pictures of Kent and my addition to our family costumes. Kent and I both dressed up in some clothes that looked piratey. Kent had a picture of a treasure map on his shirt. I had a picture of a treasure chest on my shirt. I then made some pirate coins and sewed them on my pants so I was "pirate's booty".
We had a Halloween party with some friends which was lots of fun. We also went to the Ward Truck or Treat/ Chili cook off. That night was crazy. I had a half hour to get home, finish the chili, dress me and the kids, get everything together, Oh... and etch some glass bowls for the chili cook off all by myself. I was so tired by the time I got to the party. On Halloween night we went trick or treating with my SIL and her kids. Wesson had lots of fun.

Some other things that have been happening...... ( I told you this would be a long post)
Wesson one day decided he wanted to go on a road trip to AZ (which he will will ask if he can go back)  so he got in his car and went.
Of course Barrett had to go too.
This then turned into a photo shoot.

Barrett cut two teeth a week apart, So he got to try frozen blueberries.

Which he loves. He also loves animal crackers!
While Barrett was eating his blueberries I turned around and found Wesson like this....

Those are Barrett's 6-9 month pants!!!! Yes they fit him around the waist, just a little on the short side. I was shocked!!!
Wesson was helping me do bills the other day and he decided that he wanted to put Barrett in the mail too.

Here are just some more cute pictures of my boys!!!

September

Barrett is now five months and still has no desire to sit up by himself. He loves to sit up and see what is going on, but when you try to sit him up he digs his heels in and makes himself lay down. I also started him on baby cereal ( I  took pictures, but I can't find them) He doesn't really care for it. He doesn't cry or scream, but more of a "I just won't open my mouth for you"
This is how I know he is tired. He will start to rub his eyes even if he is smiling and laughing. I just pick him up and lay him in bed and he is out after several min. I love how he is happy even when he is tired or hungry. I am still pumping but I think I will start to slowing stop. It's too hard to pump all the time and work.
This is just one way of how I find Wesson sleeping some times. He is a wild sleeper. I don't know how he sleeps in those positions.
One day Wesson came in after nap one day and told me that he made his bed "pretty" and then asked to borrow the camera  to take a picture. Excuse the messy room.
Wesson also loves to talk me into making cookies, which I am more than happy to do most days. We have perfected our Chocolate Peanut Butter No back Cookies.

Wesson loves to lay down next to  Barrett and play with him weather it's on my bed, his bed, the crib or the ground. So one day I just took pictures of how they play.

I'm just glad that Barrett is tough and doesn't mind Wesson picking on him.

These next couple of picture are blurry my camera is about to die, and there was really poor lighting.
The end of September My niece had a birthday so we went to the Amazing Pizza Machine. It's like a big Chucky Cheese. This is the first time Wesson has ever been to place like this. As you can see he was very happy about the first ride.
Until it dropped him.
His favorite was the race cars. Daddy drove and they came in last. They raced against Aunt Melissa and Jenson and Uncle Carson and Carlee. Aunt Jen, Jace, Barrett, and I watched and cheered them on. We had a great time!!! Wesson now tells us he no longer wants he birthday dinner at Red Robin he wants it at the Amazing Pizza Machine. Good thing he has a while before he has to make a decision.
