24 weeks- 6 months

So I think I have doubled my size from last time. I'm huge, though I still feel smaller than I did with Wesson. Though I'm twice the size as most people that are 6 months. Oh, well, that's the life of someone who is short and has a huge husband!!! I feel like I have more energy these last couple of months. I don't have to take as many naps, but I do have to lay down and rest. I've been a lot move uncomfortable lately. My back and ribs are in constant pain and my stomach aches all the time. I have a whole set of braces that I wear most of the day. A physical therapist gave them to me last pregnancy to help with the pain. I have more pain than most people because I have scoliosis with plays havoc with my back. I do go to a chiropractor twice a week which helps a lot. I've slowed down my running a lot. I still do 3 miles 3 times a week, but I walk more. I've been having pain in the lower abs and uterus area and sometimes I get what feels like huge craps on the side of my belly. I find if I run on a treadmill it's a lot better than when I run outside, I don't know it it's the hills or the running surface that makes a difference, but I get less pain. The last 2 week I had a pain on my inner upper thigh, almost like a pulled groin muscle. But it hurt when I walked, sat, and got out of bed. I could run, do steps, and swat without any pain. So not wanting to make things worse I took last week off. I did go to the chiropractor who told me that my hips were twisted and that caused the pain. After getting adjusted twice I was pain free. So, I plan on running this week and maybe work off some of  that Thanksgiving dinner! I go to the doctor on Wednesday and find out how much weight I gained this month. I'm sure it's more than I planned (a pound a week) due to not running as much and all the food that I ate. I also have another ultrasound this visit and I get to drink my tasty orange drink!!
Thank you all for your response to the last post. It really helped me out. I think I will be changing to a midwife who works in the same doctors office as I go to and deliverers at the hospital. So if needed I can still get the help I need, if it comes to a c-section or a ruptured uterus. I feel that the midwife will be more understanding to my need and want to have a successful VBAC and go natural. I feel she will give me the time to go into labor on my own. I did look into hypnobabies and doulas. I feel like it's too much of a gamble with money to pay for it, since I don't know if I will have a c-section of not. We also simply do not have the money for it. I did do some of a hypbirth last time with helped with relaxation, but I could never put myself in a hypnosis. I don't believe in myself and find it weird. I plan on listening to those cds. My friend Ruthann mentioned a book that sounds interesting, which I have put  on my Christmas list and hope to get. I have started to mental prepare myself. I still have to talk to my doctor and switch to a midwife and check with insurance, but I feel much more at peace with this approach. Again thank you for your responses.

What would you do.....?

So I've been thinking a lot about labor and how I hope this one will be like. I've always wanted to have a natural birth with no pain medications. Don't ask me why, is just something I want to do....like run a marathon someday.
I planned on having an natural birth with Wesson, but felt inspired to have an epidural at 9 1/2 cm. Right about the time I had the epidural they figured out that he head was positioned wrong. Wesson was looking up and did no have his his chin tucked down to his chest. They tried stretching my cervices open more, getting him to move, but nothing worked. I pushed for 3 hours and then had a c-section. I was 4 days late and was induced . Looking back I wish I would have waited to go into labor naturally and not be induced. Because I lasted so long , I believe I could give birth naturally if I prepared myself.
BUT.... I don't know if I should try that this time around. My doctor does do VBAC. That was one of the first questions I asked her, I was prepared to changed doctors, even though I like mine. But, she told me she would still sechdule a c-section for a week before my due date. She would then check me, if I was doing good she would push my c-section back to my due date. She knows I want VBAC, but won't let me go past my due date for a VBAC. If I go into labor naturally,  I can proceed with labor how every I want natural or epidural.I plan on begging for a few more days if I don't go into labor by my due date. Remember... I was 4 days late and induced, so I don't have big hopes of going before my due date.
Now.... Here are some questions...... Do I prepare myself for giving birth naturally only having a small chance of actually doing it? Would I feel more like a failure for having planned and prepared myself only to have a c-section? If I go natural I would want to hire a doula. Should I still hire one? If so, would I still have to pay if I cancel and have to have a c-section? Should I just worry about going into labor and not worry about giving birth natural? I could worry about that next birth if I am successful this time around. Should I change doctor's and find one that will let me got past my due date? Is that safe?  I know I can deny the c-section, but is this wise? Would putting the doctor on my bad side help me out any? Should I request a ultrasound on my due date  to see if I could push the c-section back a few days so I can more time? These are just a start of some of the questions I have.
Please feel free to give me your advice!!!! Maybe I can decide what my plan of action should be. I know I still have plenty of time to decide what to do.  Some I would know what I will have to worry about until I get to my due date. But I like to be prepared. It takes a while to prepare yourself for natural birth. So I would like to make some sort of plan soon. Help me please!!!!

20 Weeks---1/2 way!!!!

Here I am at 20 weeks. I'm a lot bigger than most people who are 20 weeks, but smaller than I was last pregnancy!!!! I feel like I have more energy most days. I feel like I'm staying more on top of things, then I have since I got pregnant! I still run 3 miles 3 times a weeks, but the next morning my groin muscles are sore, so it's a little more difficult to get out of bed in the morning. I plan on running the Turkey Trot this year. Don't worry I'm not worrying about my time or running the whole thing. I'm just doing it for fun!!! I've gained 4 more lbs this last month. A little more than I wanted, but I was pleased with it because of Halloween and everything that goes with that. I don't want to gain more than one lb a week. So I'm half way through and have gained 10lbs. I not longer fit into my regular pants and now wear maternity pants all the time. I'm excited that we are having a boy!!!
