July

July was such a long month. We started off the month celebrating the 4th. We went to Louisville Lakes and played ....
in the sand
Went Kayaking and fishing.

Relaxed and
enjoyed yummy food!
Later that day we went over and hung out with some friends and set off fireworks.
I was off for the summer so I just sent time with my boys and "enjoyed" the last month being pregnant. We sent lots of time hanging out in our pool.

I spent a little too much time in the pool one afternoon and burnt my legs really bad.
It hurt to walk! I was scared I was going to go into labor and have to deal with a sunburn!!

We went hiking one day for a playdate.
We made Popsicle!
I made a quilt, Kent went out of town. We had to fix the brakes on the truck, and the battery on the car. Kent started working a second job.

Played around with the camera. This is Barrett's "scared" face.
Wesson is a zombie, Barrett is just being silly.
I finished Elsie's dresser.
I hit my due date.
Went for a "labor inducing" run. on my due date. Did three miles...it didn't help.
Went pass my due date...so I took the boys to the lake.
Helped Charisse work on her house.

Hit 41 weeks... and still no baby. At 41 weeks and 2 days Elsie decided to come meet us!

September

So I am slowing back posting and maybe one of these days I will catch up. I think my goal for next year is to post at least once a month with an update on everyone.
So here is September....

Wesson LOVES his sister. I have to get after him for kissing her too much. He gets upset if she is sleeping and I won't let him give her a kiss and hug good night. He also like to help feed her a bottle. He is handling Kindergarten a lot better. Now he usually will have meltdowns starting Thursday after school. This is way Thursdays are really long and always feel like Friday! He also has joined walking club.
He love to take picture on my phone. Here is a selfie. Notice the bandage. We had some issues with some neighborhood kids. They didn't want to play with him, so they threw a rock at him and got Wesson in the forehead. I got a knock on my door and a dad was carrying him and handed him over and simply said "He got hit in the head with a rock" and walked away. Wesson was covered in blood. He could of used a few stitches, but we just went with the butterfly route. I had major mom guilt about this whole incident. All is well now.
Barrett was sick for a while this month. He had a double ear infection as well as a viral infection. Made for a grouchy kid, but he is feeling much better now.
He is my buddy in the car in the mornings. He love to have his hat and sunglasses on. He also love to have his picture taken. Though most of them are blurry because he doesn't hold still. He has such a cheesy smile.

See... He also loves to just sit on the couch and watch a picture slide show on my laptop. He current favorite is May 2011. He was about 2 months old in those pictures.
He is getting better with his sister. He doesn't poke her in the eyes as much. I don't have to worry as much leaving her in the same room as Barrett. Though the other day he did shove a animal cracker in her mouth. So I still have to worry and move fast if I do. His favorite job is to throw Elise's diapers away and get me new ones.
Elsie is just a chill as ever. She is now sleeping usually 8 hours at night. I feel like she sleeps all day. She is starting to coo. She doesn't like it if I have too much diary, but she is not as bad as the boys were.
She lets you know if she wants something. She will fuss some to gets swaddles, changed, fed, or put to sleep. I usually will get swaddle her and lay her down and she will go to sleep.
She is just a happy cute girls, who recently has discovered her tongue.
Not only are her cheeks big, but so are her eyes. They are turning blue, just like everyone else.
She loves to sit up and look around, I just have to protect her with lots of pillows. She she doesn't get clobbered as bed with loves from her brothers.

I have loved being a mom of three cute kids. Sometimes it's hard with everyone needing something at the same time, but we make things work out. I got mastitis one more time this week, and more more time my mom came to the rescue and took care of me and my kids. My sister Charisse started helping me take serious control of our finances and make everything ship shape. She has given me loves of great advice. Already things are looking better, I was always afraid to look at my account. Now I look at least once a day and track everything!!!
Kent has been home a little bit more with I know he enjoys more. He feels like he has more time with the kids and to do things like play games and mow the lawn. I appreciate all he does for our little family!
Favorite moment this month--I let Wesson babysit Elsie for little moments, like when I run the the mail box or put Barrett down for a nap. One time he came and found me and told me "Elsie told me I am SUPER COOL!!!!" Then we could hear her talking in the other room...." oh.... she telling me her super cool brother needs to come back! Bye!!"

Here is my update for August....
Wesson--- started Kindergarten. This was a hard transition. He was still taking naps half the time, so moving to full day kindergarten was hard. By the end of the week there were lots of tears. He loves Kindergarten! His teacher is Mr. Cinfel. He rides the bus to and from school and loves it. He has also become friends with some kids in the neighborhood.
He loves his sister and is consistently making up songs and singing to her. His favorite is from a country song. "Hey.. Pretty girl!" He loves to give her hugs and kisses. He has been such a big help! he loves picking out what she should wear for the day.
He got to go to a friends house in the ward for a birthday party. They had a huge slip and slide! This picture does not do it justice. He had a blast!!!

Barrett--- Has always loved accessories...so he loves to try on his sisters headbands....

Or my breast pump....
He has discovered a love for Mickey Mouse and is always asking me to draw it on his hand. I am not an artist at all, but he loves it!

He loves his sister. He tries to play with her, and is sad when all she does is sit there. He is a good helper and his favorite job it to put Elsie's diaper in the trash, and her dirty clothes in the hamper. He still tries to pock her in the eye, and bounce her ( way too hard) He is always concerned about where she is at.

The boy have started running to me and telling me "Elsie Alert!!" when Elsie is crying. I have a built in baby monitor.
Kent has been out of town for two different business trips. So this what nap time looks like on the weekends. Three different kids in my bed sleeping for nap time.
Right before school started My friend Jen and I took our kids to the zoo for one last trip. Here are the boys making silly faces!!
Elsie-- Still has these big chubby cheeks that I can't get enough of!!

She got her first bath!
She went to church for the first time.
Met Uncle Levi. I have a picture of my brother making this face with each of my kids.
Started to smile!
Loves cuddling with me in her sling as I walk Wesson to and from the bus stop.
 She turned one month old!

LanaMarie- I went back to week, 2 1/2 weeks after having Elsie. It was mostly meeting, so I brought Elsie with me! I got Mastitis already. But after dealing with so many times, I drove to Lincoln and saw a lactation Dr. She was a ton of help and I think maybe I can breast feed without so many problems and without pain. This month has been hard trying to figure out Kindergarten, work, and having three kids by myself. Kent was out of town twice and usually at work from 7-10pm at least 5 times a week. I am blessed to have my family around to help me and a sweet baby who sleeps at least 6 hours at night and 4 hours between feedings. She is very mellow and will just sleep and hang out on the couch while life goes on around her.
Kent- All he does is work and tries his best to have family time. He went to Iowa several times and probably enjoyed sleeping in and through the night;)

Elsie's Blessing

Elise's Blessing was a beautiful day. We blessed her on September 1st the same day as my good friend Jen blessed her baby, Malcom. We  had lot of family in town for the blessing. Great-Grandma Lamoreaux, Grandma and Grandpa Thorne, David, James, and Melissa came in town for it. Kent gave her a beautiful blessing. My mom made her beautiful gown out of scrap material from the wedding dress she made me. I made a cute bow for her dress, a bow for her head, and a bracelet. She look adorable.
Here she is with her brothers.
Four generation
The Tryon's
The Thorne's

Her name sake

My beautiful girl!!!
