Christmas 2010

Here is just a quick post with some of the highlights and cute pictures from out Christmas.

But first there is a cute story I want to tell about Wesson sitting on Santa's lap. When Santa came into the room for the Ward Christmas party, Wesson was pretty scared. He was clinging to my neck and while Santa read Polar Express Wesson tried to escape the whole time. He warmed up some when he saw Santa  was giving away candy. I finally convinced him to go up with some other kids and sit on his lap. He had a nice long conversation with Santa. I was too far away to hear what he said. The next week We went to my work party and he sat on his lap again. This time Santa asked him what he wanted and he promptly said " A STOCKING!" Santa looked confused for a while then replied "Well, Son I think we can do that!"

But back to Christmas.....

Here is a cute picture of Wesson and Aunt Melissa.

On Christmas Eve we went over to my sister in laws house and had a fantastic Christmas dinner. Afterwords the kids all opened up pajamas. I guess Wesson really liked his!!!

The next morning we woke Wesson up at 7:15 so we would have time to open gifts and then get to my mom's house fore breakfast. We woke him up and showed him the tree and the stocking, but he had no interest in them. He just wanted to lay on the floor and sleep some. He laid there for about 15 min.

After that he still didn't want to unwrap any gifts.

He finally woke up enough that he got the hang of it. He open his stocking gift and wanted to stop there. We kept on having to bribe him to open up another gift!

After we opened gifts we headed to my mom's house and had breakfast of Bran muffins!!! A family favorite!!! Alisa and Matt were there with my mom and dad. After that we opened some more gifts.

Wesson got a remote control Bulldozer from his cousin Lania which he loved!!!

We left my mom's house after a while a headed to Kent's side of the family. There we opened more gifts, spent time with family and had lunch. After that we headed home and took a much needed nap. Woke up and then went to my mom's house for a delicious dinner. During the day we learned the my oldest sister Camilla got engaged and my next oldest sister Kaylene is expecting baby number 2!!! It was quiet a Christmas!!!
