Birthday Celebrations!

Wesson had a great day on his birthday. We started the day by going to the zoo. He had fun watching the birds, fish, and sharks.
We then had a BBQ at the park with just family. The weather was perfect and the food was great! This the turtle cake I made for the big event. The little cupcake was for Wesson to dig into. (Don't worry I took off the skittles)

We tried to get him to dig into his cake, but he was not hungry. We should of waited a while after eating to do the cake, but he was being so happy that we thought we would try it then. He had no desire to even touch the cake. So Kent tried feeding it to him and he did not like it. We saved some cake to see if we can try the whole cake thing later.
He did an excellent job at opening his gifts! Thanks for all the gifts everyone! My mom and I made a quiet book for Sundays. Pictures to come. Happy late birthday to Hanna!
